Ideally located between the summer towns of Ludington and Pentwater and just a mile west (as the crow flies) from Lake Michigan, we like to think we have the best of both worlds. You can escape the bustle of town with a short (10-15 minute) drive and enjoy the beauty of nature. We have recreation opportunities, some planned activities, quality food and a General Camp Store at Kibby Creek, but there are also many things to do and see in this beautiful area. Take a look below for a few of our favorites, but don’t just take our word for it – there is lots more to see and do!

P.S. We’d be happy to help you find things for your family to do while you’re here. Feel free to give us a call or send us an email if you have any questions about the area!

Ludington and the surrounding area is home to three magnificent lighthouses, maintained by the Sable Point Lighthouse Keepers Association. The Ludington North Breakwater Light, the Big Sable Lighthouse at the Ludington State Park and the Little Point Lighthouse at the Silver Lake State Park.

Miles of Beaches

West Michigan is known as the third coast of the U.S, or also as the “Fresh Coast.” The water is pristine, the beaches are sandy and the fun is endless! Ludington is home to an incredible shoreline and we invite you to come find your favorite beach with us!

Charter Fishing

Ludington & Pentwater is home to some great salmon fishing! You can bring your own boat and show off your angling skills, or you can rent a charter with one of the many charter boats in the area! Let’s see if you can break the State Record of the 47.68lbs King Salmon caught in Ludington!

Ludington State Park

Ludington is not the most popular state park in the Midwest by accident. From hiking trails to the Big Sable Point Lighthouse, biking paths, playgrounds and Hamlin Lake – you won’t want to miss the beautiful Ludington State Park!
